About Us

Tiervlei Trial Centre (TTC) is a well-established, private Clinical Research Centre based in Cape Town, Western Cape, South Africa. The centre was established in 2000 and as such, has been a part of the International Research Community for more than 23 years.

At TTC we are involved in the development of safe and effective medication with all research conducted according to the international Good Clinical Practices (GCP) guidelines.

At TTC we have research experience in treatments for a wide range of medical conditions as well as preventative medication, such as vaccines. Taking care of our patients is central to our daily activities and we consult patients across all the different age groups.

We have a dedicated team of permanent doctors, nurses, pharmacists, and clinical support staff to look after our patients. We also work in close collaboration with doctors, clinics, and hospitals in both the private and the government sectors to achieve our research goals.

Our track record speaks for itself, through our involvement in more than 500 international clinical research projects since our establishment.
